So what is Storier anyway?

Storier is kid-safe audio fun! It's a membership based service for kids under the age of twelve to enjoy audiobooks, music, StorierStudios original content, and more. Our service is 100% catered for kids, meaning we will never add advertisements, we will never have in-app purchases, and we will always hold the privacy of your data in the highest regard. It also means that we will provide hundreds of hours of educational and entertaining audio content with the hope that when kids listen, they'll be inspired to go and do great things! We make sure to screen everything that we put on the platform, so you as the parent can have confidence that your kids won't accidentally stumble into something that you don't want them to see or hear.

Since all of the content on Storier is audio-only, you can rest assured knowing it's a screen-free activity for your kids.

Does Storier really not have any ads?

It is super important to us that our kids can enjoy an unquestionably safe platform that is full of great content. As such, Storier promises to never add ads to the platform. Ever. Even our third party partners don't include promotions and/or sponsorships in their programming. We truly are 100% ad-free.

Can multiple devices play Storier content at the same time?

For sure! We understand that many families have multiple children with different listening preferences, and we have built the platform so everyone can listen at the same time.

To customize each user's experience, create playlists for them to enjoy their favorite tracks!

What's the payment structure for Storier?

After a complimentary 30-day trial, you will be billed for one of three membership plans (depending on what you selected upon signing up). Pricing starts at $6/ month with our Basic plan but more premium content is available with our Extra plan ($9/month) and our Super plan ($12/month).

Tiered plans allow you to pay for exactly what you are looking for so you can get the most out of Storier. To upgrade or downgrade your selected plan, email us at hello@mystorier.com

For extra savings, you can pay annually and we'll give you two months of listening for free!

How do I stay in the loop concerning new content, features, and products?

1) Subscribe to our newsletter, or 2) follow us on social media.

How can I best enjoy the content on Storier?

You can enjoy on multiple different platforms, in nearly any setting. Listen in the car, while doing activities and crafts, or while brushing your teeth! There really is no right or wrong way!

What devices does Storier support?

Storier is currently available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Listeners can also access Storier on our web platform by logging in at https://app.storier.fm.

Can I create my own playlists?

Absolutely! Make one for each kid! Make one for each of your favorite holidays! Make one for your road-trip! The possibilities are limitless.

Create a playlist by selecting “New Playlist” in the “My Library” section.

Then, add your favorite audiobooks or tracks to a playlist by expanding the three dots next to each track and select “Add to playlist” to add that specific episode, chapter, or song to a playlist.

All of your playlists will appear in the "My Library" section within the navigation bar. There, you‘ll have the ability to add or remove any content, as well as delete any unwanted playlists.

I live internationally. Can I still listen to Storier?

We are available wherever you are! Most of the content on Storier is currently in the English language, but we are working hard to bring you a more global selection. Please note, however, that some content is not available in every region. If you are struggling to access Storier in your region, please reach out to us at hello@mystorier.com and know that we'll do our best to help.

How does Storier make money if it doesn't run ads?

Since Storier does not (and will not) run ads or include in-app purchases that inappropriately target your children, we need to rely on our membership-based model for revenue. These fees help us deliver the best experience possible through creating StorierStudios original content, and licensing the best content from premier partners across the audio content universe. We are so grateful to have your support as we strive to build this safe place for kids.

I want to take a break. How do I cancel my membership?

We are sorry to see you go! You can cancel by logging in to https://storier.fm and clicking “My Account” in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. There, select "Billing" and then "Cancel". Please make sure you cancel more than a day before your billing cycle ends, or you might be charged. We, unfortunately, cannot provide refunds once you are charged.

My free trial ended. What happens now?

At the end of your complimentary 30-day trial, you will be charged for the membership plan that you signed up for.

If you cancelled your trial before the 30 day trial period ended, you will not be charged. However, if you cancel, the Storier library will only be available to you if you become a member again.

Does my membership renew automatically?

To make sure that you have a seamless listening experience and to simplify your life, your membership will auto-renew at the end of its billing period.

To stop your membership from auto-renewing, you will need to cancel it. We, unfortunately, are unable to offer refunds for late cancellations.

How is the audio content developed and curated?

When we acquire content, we are primarily thinking about your (and our) kids. We have developed a process to carefully vet content to ensure it is safe for all audiences, and we test it with families who help us identify anything that doesn't meet our standards. We will not hesitate to remove content that even approaches the line of not being appropriate for kids. Not only is it all safe, but it is all fun (or spooky and thrilling), too!

Can my kids help test shows?

Every Storier Orignal goes through a standardized testing stage with kids who give us candid and useful feedback. We have a lot of Original content in the works, and will need your help to make sure it is kid-tested and kid-approved!
